Chock the tires so the vehicle will not move, as you will need to release the parking brake. As always, make sure the vehicle is on a level surface, no need in having to chase the vehicle down a hill. Raise the rear tire off the ground and remove the wheel. There will be four bolts on the back of the brake caliper, two to remove the caliper from the car and two to remove the slider. Remove the caliper from the vehicle, and remove the old pads. You will see a + looking slot on the inside of the caliper, you will need to turn this clockwise to put the caliper plunger in, this will make room for the new pads to fit on the rotor. A large screwdriver may work, but there is a tool for this that is around ten dollars and can make this a painless job. Most calipers just get pushed in, however on this system you need to turn that thing clockwise to get it in. Put in the new pads and reasemble. You will get frustrated a little, but once you have done it one it will be an easy task for the other side and every time you do it again. One note, you should always have to rotors turned or replaced everytime you change pads. This will make for longer life on the pads and make the brake system work properly. When thet do not get turned and the brakes warm up, you will get some "wobble" when you brake. And a wobbly car is never good. Hope that helps.

Does this stupid a$$ site ever have answers to the questions that are posted? Useless!
No. For the most part, Civic and Accord parts are not interchangeable.
How do you change the front and rear brake pads on a 2000 Honda Civic Si?
The timing belt on a 2000 Honda Accord should be changed every 75,000 miles. Failure to change at the appropriate time can result in engine failure.
I need to find out the timing degrees on a Honda Accord 2000
It means your alternator is going.. atleast that's what it meant when it happened on my 2000 accord ex.
No.
The parking brake wire is located under the center console. Around the parking brake there is a wire that routes to handbreak, it is normally green.
No
Must be changed every 105,000 miles.
