The AC compressor belt is the same belt that runs the alternator. It is on the left side of gthe vechicle when you are standing in front of the car looking down on the engine. You will need metric wrenches to do this. Both box and rachet (12, 13, & 14 mm size), torque wrench (suggested), and a pry bar.

Do the following:

1. Remove the negative battery cable and hook it so that it cannot come in contact with the negative battery terminal.

2. The alternator has three bolts holding it: the pivot bolt (top back), the adjusting bolt (front points down, most of it exposed), and the locking bolt (just below the adjusting bolt). Loosen, But do not remove the bolts in the following order: The locking bolt first - about one full turn, just enough to unscrew the adjusting bolt easily, then unscrew the adjusting bolt untill you see bolt tread above the adjustiong bolt's upper bracket hole, now loosen the pivot bolt and the alternator should drop down.

3. Remove the drive belt and replace it. Fit the new belt around the engine pulley first, then the compressor pullet and finally around the alternator pulley. Make sure the belt sits squarely on all three pulleys (its Vs should fit into the pulley grooves).

4. Now reverse the process, but do not tighten the locking bolt, just yet. Use the pry bar to lift the alternator as high as possible (without destroying hoses and other engine parts) and tighten the pivot bolt (torque is 56 Nm or 570 kg.cm or 41 ft lbs) - Without the torque wrench get it as tight as possible.

5. Niow tighten the Adjusting screw until the belt deflects just 1/4 inch when pressed in the middle of the top span.

6. Now reconnect the negative battery terminal cable, and start the engine. Any squealing noises indicate that the adjusting bolt needs more tightening. Repeat process until squealing noises are gone.

7. Tighten the lock bolt (torque is 18 Nm or 180 kg.cm or 13 ft lb) - without the torque wrench make sure it is tight, but not as tight as possible or you may damage the adjusting bolt.

8. Congradulations, you're good to go!
