if you havent ever changed one before then you shouldn't mess with it, the freon inside the compressor is poisionest, it needs to be drained, new compressor installed, filled with dye to test for leaks, drained again and then re-fill with freon.

I'm assuming you mean the air conditioner compressor. Even if you have front and rear air conditioning in your van, you still have only one compressor. If you can tell us the size engine you have it would narrow the answer down a lot.

It you are talking about the lower bolts then you need to remove the drive belt and the top compressor bolts and slightly move the compressor to the side and then tighten up the lower bolts and remember that you do not need to discharge the a/c system................
