all you have to do is take the cross m off in slide the fuse box over
First remove the screws/bolts that hold the windshield washer reservoir, then reposition the reservoir out of your way. Loosen the screws/bolts that secure the metal brace that is above the battery. Swing brace out of the way, so that you can have easy access to remove/replace battery. Once battery is replaced, replace brace and the washer reservoir.

first you remove the k brace which is the black bar, then you remove the beck, which is the fuse box, then you remove the battery rubber hold down which is a 13mm and then remove the 2 battery terminals carefully which are an 8mm then the battery comes out and reverse procedure to install.
you remove the battery hold down brace and voala! its done!
Remove battery. Remove left engine brace. Remove serpentine belt. Take off water pump pulley. Take off water pump! This was the easiest water pump I ever replaced.
You must remove the angled brace tube over the battery. It unbolts easily and then the battery pops out. First you have to romove the black bar. I forget what its called, sorry. There is to bolts and each end. Tyhen you remove the two battery termails. Then you have to remove the hold down bolt. It is at the back of the battery at the bottom. It is a 13mm bolt.
just unblot the top corner brace(4 bolts, 2 fender side and 2 front window side), which is over the battery, then just disconnect the positive and negative post and take the battery out!
I na car it is very easy to change your battery. Usually there is only one or two bolts keeping a brace over the battery. Remove those and the battery, put the new one on. There are two terminals, make sure you don't mix them up or you can ruin the battery. Put the red to red and black to black.
In my experience you will need to remove the cross brace over the battery. You wil also need to remove the fuse block from the brace and pull it aside. There is a 13mm bolt holding the battery holddown bracket in place that needs removed. this requires a long extention to get past the battery. Once removed you can remove the battery cables and battery.
FIRST TAKE OFF THE ENGINE BRACE ON THAT SIDE, IT'S THREE BOLTS. SECOND DETACH THE POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE TERMINAL'S FROM THE BATTERY, BE CAREFUL NOT TO TOUCH. THIRD GRAB THE BATTERY AND PULL UP AND OUT. YOU MAY HAVE TO TWIST AND TURN IT A BIT TO GET IT OUT
The battery is left-front-corner under the cross-mount and the main power point box. To remove the battery, you first need to remove the gray-black plastic cover over the windshield wiper/firewall top area. That done, you remove the bolts that hold down the left cross-brace, and you remove the brace from the engine compartment. With the brace out of the way, and with the power box moved to the side, you have access to the battery and its clamping bolts. (There's a plastic clamping wedge down at the base of the battery that you'll want to remember to reinstall). Sounds complex; actually pretty simple.
front left under a brace.
