I've done this one myself. You'll need a conversion lead from Halfords or a car audio dealers to do the job properly (the car has two din plugs while the Sony has one single multi pin plug)Just pop out the stereo using a removal tool to suit, unplug the two multi plugs and the aerial lead from the back of the unit. Plug the 2 multi pin plugs into the appropriate end of your conversion lead and the other end and aerial lead into your Sony unit then feed everything back into the dash till the unit locks in (check it works O.K. first before you push it right in). Then switch ignition to first position (accessories) and bingo it should all work. Job's a good 'un.
IDk but my stereo wont play in my 08 Dodge 2500 diesel Cummins either is it a fuse??
To change car stereos, you will need to remove the bezel or cover from the stereo in the vehicle. Then, pull the stereo out of the dashboard and remove the wiring harness. You can then attach the new stereo to the harness.
The personal stereo is also known as a Walkman. This portable personal stereo player was invented by Andreas Pavel.
Remove the retaining cover from your stereo. Remove the stereo retaining bolts. Slide the stereo out and remove the wiring harness. Reverse the process to install your new stereo.
Some manufacturers have stereo microscopes with interchangeable lenses but zoom lenses are more common. The oculars are most commonly interchanged, the objective lenses rarely so.
no
How do I change the clock setting on a 1997 Chevy Lumina with a CD stereo system?
No its impossible!
Not if the CD player is an integral part of the stereo. If it is a separate component then it may have a different fuse circuit.
Call Crutchfield. They have the installation kit, diagrams and instructions.
I do not know, but I am having the same problems with the removal of my 1994 tracer's stereo
