The only way to get an accurate reading of someone's temperature is to use a thermometer. They're easy to pick up from your local pharmacist - a traditional one will be relatively cheap whereas a digital one may cost a little more. If you have a fever, basic symptoms are chills and sweats but it's always useful to get it checked.
