How do you clean your furniture when its dirty on sims 3 adventures?

If a counter is dirty, click on it and there should be a 'clean' option. Alternatively, iff you have a neat sim in the household, click on the ground and choose 'clean house'. He/she will tidy everything in the house which needs putting away or cleaning.
