How do you cleanse your soul?

The question should be re-written, "how do you cleanse your soul from sin?" No man really knows what sin is until he or she has been chosen by Christ unto salvation. Then the full force of the words "cleanse", "soul", and "sin" hits full-force. The evidence that I am delivered from sin is that I know the real nature of sin in me. And that is revealed by God.

Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Matthew 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

The cleansing of the soul (salvation) of Christ is the magnificent thought of God,and not man's. Any individual who is cleansed from sin and into a justified state was by pure mercy,and not by his own hand: Romans 3:23--For all have sinned,and come short of the glory of God. That one is "justified freely by his grace, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus" (Romans 3:24). We are not only made alive by Christ, but we live by Christ. If any of us understand God's Word at all, we know God has cast the order of our salvation into a method that is far different from working for it or wishing for it. It is a method of grace, but never our own grace.Rather,it is God's divine grace that has cleansed souls.
