move away from the drug,if its around you you'll do it. if it takes losing your friends because they do it,tell them your busy. stay around the people you love the most and who are supportive 100%of the way. Remove yourself from the environment. I was hooked on meth for 5 yrs and didnt think i would stop. I got away from all the people the were involved it took about a year before i started to feel normal again. It was a long hard road but it can be done.
First and foremost get rid of all your meth head friends.. They are not true friends anyways, get rid of your phone and all contacts you might have to get a hook up. Change your number and don't give to anyone who does Crystal meth or drugs of any kind. It is not as hard as you may think.. Mind over matter you are stronger than the drug
The best way to get dis-acquainted from meth amphetamine is to go to drug rehab. Your chance of success will probably be higher if you have some kind of motivation to quit using meth amphetamine. Vitamin C supposedly can help. If you do not wish to go to drug rehab, you could always try getting arrested, hence forcing you to go "cold-turkey" . Going cold-turkey is not recommended as it becomes very likely you will relapse if you try to quit cold turkey. It is also advised that you stay away from people, places, and things in your life related to meth, as these can be triggers for a meth craving. These triggers can include the pipe you smoke meth out of, the tube you snort meth out of, the needle you inject meth out of, friends you get "high" with, places you get "high", and much more. A friend can also make the process of quitting meth use much less strenuous.
1. paying alot of money to a rehab center and will power
2. quitting strait up. lots of will power required but its free
3. cabin method. have a friend lock you in a cabin or other small inescapable room for 3-7days until initial will for meth diminishes. then once your out it requires will power to keep off of it.
You need to get a support system in place if you chose to do this without professional help (which is always the best choice). First of all you need to educate yourself on the withdrawal symptoms of meth and just in general information about the drug. Find out what you are up against. You also need to think about what it is in your life that enables you have that addictive personality, and causes you to seek relief in drug use. Understand it is a long road that begins with a choice, you must be committed and ready.
