How do you connect Motorola bluetooth 500 to Motorola RAZR phone?

Make sure the H700 is fully charged up (not necessary but you'll probably begin to immediately use it and it would be bad to have it discon because the battery is dead). Turn off the H700 (the ring around the talk button should not be flashing blue every few seconds), push the talk button, that's the oval button on the face of the headset, for about five seconds, until the ring around it displays a purple color. Immediately let go of the button and flip open the tiny microphone extension. Now it's in pairing mode and you can leave it while you fiddle with the iPhone.

From the iPhone main menu, select the "Settings" button, then in the Settings menu, select the "General" option.

Touch the "Bluetooth" menu item on the General menu. when the next screen appears, if your Bluetooth is already turned on it will start looking for (discovering) your H700. If Bluetooth is not turned on, slide the gray button so it displays "on" instead of "off". Your iPhone should now start discovering your H700. It should automatically find your H700, then display another screen that prompts you for a code. According to the manufacturer's guidelines, the H700 requires you put in "0000" that is 4 (four) Zeros as the code.

If everything went well, the "Bluetooth" screen should be displayed again and the Motorola H700 should show up under the word "Devices" showing that it is Paired.

Your H700 should now also blink Blue around the talk button.

If things didn't go well. I suggest navigating back to the bluetooth menu. Turning bluetooth off on the iPhone. Flipping closed the microphone boom on the H700 and starting over again. I had to do it twice because I fumble fingered the 4 zeros. NOTE: it is not necessary to have the H700 right on top of the iPhone, but I'd have it within an arms reach, just to be sure you get a good signal and you actually pair to your Bluetooth headset... ~Tex

Once the iPhone has discovered the H700 if it continues to state "Not Paired" simply tap the Motorola H700 box and it will take you to the next screen. Enter "0000" as the security code. The iPhone should now successfully pair with the H700....gapeng1

with the bluetooth in off position (switch back), hold down the center button until the color changes to pink, quickly flip the bluettooth on and the light will remain on. It will ask if this is the correct bluetooth. You answer yes/no. It will then ask if you want to pair it, answer yes, then it will ask for the password. put the password in and it should be connected.

Switch your phone to search for a bluetooth device then turn on the Motorola h670. It will come up on the phone menu. Select 'pair with device'. It will ask you for a passcode, enter 0000. The phone should then pair and ask if you want it to automatically pair when you switch on the blue tooth device. Hope this helps!

When you first turn it on hold the power button for 5 seconds until the blue light stays lit. Then connect the phone by pressing search devices on your phone
