I used 1517 on the "aud" button for my Vizio sound bar for Time Warner dvr/hdtv box controller. I can't tell what brand it is. Only say's UEI technology. Found that code on the site linked below.

vizio is worth it. it has a great sound that everyone can enjoy with a great surround sound effect. I have vizio and its sound is very unique to its sound. I would suggest to giving it a try and if you are not happy then return it and try a different type of sound bar. sony makes a really great sound bar too. the decision is all up to you.

No, the dish network remote only has those codes. If you want to control everything, get a Logitech Harmony remote.
Most TV's can control receivers, VCRs, DVDs and Cable Boxes. Sound Bars are not among those items covered by a preset universal remote. You will want a Logitech Harmony remote to control everything.

The Direct TV remote cannot control Surround receivers. It can only control TV sets. If you want to control everything with one, look at the Logitech Harmony remotes.
