.jpeg image Format - HTML LanguageA .jpeg is a image format. HTML is a language for the browser to read to display a web page. You cannot convert a .jpeg into HTML. You can use the HTML to display the image.jpeg.

Using HTML to display images you use the tag. To display an image on a page, you need to use the (source attribute) src= The value of the src attribute is the URL of the image you want to display on your page which means that the image you want to display must be uploaded to a server, and have a web address (URL). The URL for the image points to the location where the image is stored on the server.

It should look like this:

Broken down it means < img source = "the address (URL) of the image is located / (for the name of the image) Your_image.jpg">

You can make a screen capture - it is the simplest way to deal with that (use the Print Screen key, than Paste the result in Paint).

If the page does not fit on your screen you can either repeat the process after scrolling and glue the images together (not really optimal) or use a printer driver that supports writing images instead of physical printing.

To convert an HTML document into an image you have to employ some kind of extra software. If the page is small enough, you can use the "Print Screen" feature available within most OSes.

If the page is larger than the screen (in other words, if you have to scroll) you'll need a more advanced software package or utility. There are utilities that work with browser plugins, software you can install locally, and even online converters. See the related links for a few of many (a quick web search for "Webpage to Image" will yield dozens.)

It depends on what you mean. If you mean an embedded image in CSS using the data: method, then you need to pull that string data out into another file, and assign it the proper extension.

But HTML doesn't have images. HTML uses images as external resources. That means that an image you've saved from an HTML page is almost certainly in a binary image file format already. (PNG, JPEG, and GIF are the most common.) In that case, you can simply use an online image format converter to take that image and turn it into a JPEG. (See links.)

  1. You could press the print screen button at the top of the keyboard (to the right of the F12 key). This saves a picture of the current screen to the clipboard, so you can then
  2. Paste it into Microsoft Word, then
  3. Right-click on the image and select 'Save as image...'. Select a location to save to, save it then close Word.
  4. Open it in Windows Photo Gallery and
  5. Select 'fix' from the toolbar at the top, then 'crop'.

There you go - you now have a .JPEG image of your webpage!

No, they are completely different kinds of things. A jpeg is a graphic and HTML is a language used to create web pages. You can display a jpeg by using HTML.

Can you retrieve a JPEG file out of a HTML file?

A .jpeg file is not in an HTML file. It is a separate file that is called from the HTML file to display on the browser. You can get the URL of the jpeg file from the HTML file and if the graphic is still there, the file can be obtained from its location. If you are on the actual web page that displays the image, you can usually right click on the image and select 'Save As' and save the file. Some web sites have their images protected to prevent you from saving their photos onto your harddrive.

Probably not, because the two graphic formats have almost nothing in common. jpeg is used to effectively store generic images (like photos), dwg is used to store Autocad 3D graphics.
