How do you convince your mom to let you have a sleepover with girls and boys at your house?

First, whoever's house your sleeping at, make sure your mom knows the family well. If she doesn't know them that well, she might not trust them and won't feel comfortable with you at their house. And make sure you live pretty close to your friend's house. If there's an emergency, your mom is close to you and can come for the emergency and you'll be safe. And tell your mom that your friend probably really wants you to come and she'll be really sad if you don't. And if all my advice didn't work, sorry.

Well first of all maybe tell your mom you aren't doing anything harmful all you're doing i spending time with your friends. Tell her she doesn't have to worry about you, and you'll be fine. Make sure you tell her who you want to invite and she talks with them and they're parents. Since you are having a sleepover with boys a suggestion would be to have the girls sleep on one side of the room and the boys at the other. Your mom just might be worried that you will do things and you won't tel her about it. If you have any younger siblings ask them to let you and your friends have some time alone. Honestly I don't know if this will work I have never asked my mom to let me have a sleepover with boys. I guess that might be something I'll have to try in the future but maybe when I am a little bit older, when she trusts me more.

I don't think you should have to convince her, she should let you because it is your grandma. If my son wanted to have a sleepover with his grandma no matter which one it was (my side or his father's) I would never say no I would let him. I know that he is safe with her and she would do everything in her power to keep him safe. Tell your mom that she's your grandma, and you shouldn't need to convince her to let you have a sleepover with her but if that doesn't work show her this answer.

Talk to your mum about it and explain to how sensible you would be. Maybe if you made a deal with your mum then she may come through, for example:

You need to show that you can be responsible and well behaved while you are out of her sight.

Try asking your mother if there are any chores you can do for her, for example. Or promise to do chores after she lets you go (and stick to the promise or she will never agree again).

Bear in mind that at the end of the day, she is protecting you because she loves you.
