Kishka can either be fried (casing on or off) in a lightly buttered or oiled frying pan or baked in a 350 degree oven until warm throughout. Personal preference will dictate the doneness, either just warmed or crisp.

Kishka can also be fried, with the casing on or off, in a lightly oiled frying pan. Or, consider cooking kishka in a pot of salted water or baked in a 350 degree oven until warm throughout, about 1 å_ to 2 hours. No need to defrost it, just throw it in frozen.

My grandmother taught us to slice it and to remove it from the casing before frying. I put a little oil on the bottom of the pan
