You cant you have to have them either email you songs from their iTunes or burn you a CD from their itunes and then you can load it onto your itunes\iPod
Super easy way to get your hands on your ipod songs: open my computer, file e: (when ipod is plugged in), go up to TOOLS, Folder options, View, and click on show hidden items (apple hides and scrambles your song list.) in e: click on ipod_control, music, and you should see "F#" these are the scrambled song titles. transfer to your desktop, and do whatever you want with your songs! great for transferring songs from one ipod to another! don't forget to turn hidden back off, don't wanna delete something you need!
you can also use winamp to copy song from your ipod to your computer once u do that then just simply add them to itunes. if u have a ipod touch or a iphone it will not work. to download it just go to winamp.com/player

i think you mean copy, well if so you should try dragging the file to the desktop. Then plug your ipod into the computer, then you can drag the music file from the desktop to your ipod.
You can't. U would have to put it threw ITunes.
First off, any music you want on your ipod, add it into your itunes. [ie the hard copy of music you have?] Then either manually re-add the stuff on or sync the itunes library [or your selected music] with your ipod. Hope that helps!

In general, iTunes will not allow one to move music from an iPod to a PC. The only exception is music that you have purchased through iTunes. There are a number of programs that will bypass iTunes and help with the management of your iPod. One such program is Copy Trans Manager.
you would have to take your own iPod to that friends house & plug it into her computer. to get the music you want, in the summary section check the box that reads "manually manage music and videos" then you can drag the music to your iPod & it will sync then you can listen to it ORRRR put music on a thumb drive then put the music files you want on it ORRRR put music on a CD
If you do not have a copy of iTunes software installed install a copy of Itunes software. Assuming the music on the laptop is in mp3 format drag the music files in to the iTunes music library. You can also add tracks from CDs you may own and iTunes can convert them to the mp3 format. Connect the iPod to the laptop's USB socket and iTunes will recognise it. You can then manage the music you want added to your iPod - iTunes can pick a random selection for you or you can set up your own playlist of tracks you particularly want to hear.
You cant just send them to it. you need a computer that has itunes and have both ipods on the same account and then plug in the old ipod to the computer and copy the songs to itunes then plug in your new ipod and copy your music to the ipod
You can use cucusoft ipod to computer transfer to copy your iPod music back to computer, this will help a lot when you erased your music on PC.
Try burning a backup copy of your music and ripping the backup copy to your computer.
Connect you I pod to your computer and it should sync automatically
