How do you create a curved ceiling using timber and plasterboard?

Answer:

Use GRP board - it bends. Set the plane the board is to follow by constructing a timber frame. Screw the Board to the frame. Voila. Finish as usual.

If you can't get GRP - (made by British Gypsum and others) you can cut the plasterboard into strips and make a multifaceted facsimile of a curve and then plaster over the board to form a smooth line.
