Using soap and try to keep it dry in between cleaning.
Try really hard not to bother it with your tongue.
If you're going to touch it with your fingers, make sure you wash your hands first so you don't get more bacteria into it.
Don't pick at the scab or hardened discharge.
Brush your teeth with very watered down toothpaste frequently, so bacteria doesn't build in your mouth.
DON'T use neosporin or any other ointments like that. It'll just make it heal wrong.
If it hurts, take pain killers, but don't put any creams or anything on it.
