Now if you are determined to cut your own hair, go to a salon and watch how they do it and mimic it the next time you want it cut. First of all, you will need a good 3-way mirror. It is impossible to cut your hair in the back without this mirror. It will take you sometime to get use to using it, but once you have mastered the mirror, everything else is simple. Take it slow and have patience. It can be learned, and you will get better and better the more you do. If you have previously cut others you will have an idea and it won't be so hard. If not, practice on your children first. Good luck, it is fun and saves money as well.

Not only do I color and highlight my own hair, but now I cut my own hair. So, to answer your question......
