Well dont take pills or drink before you cut yourself, if u do you wont be able to really know what you are doing, and it is very likely that if you cut yourself drunk or drugged you will end up cutting too deep and really hurting yourself, and if you are cutting yourself the point is supposed to be so you feel the pain, if you dont want to feel pain whats the point? But i will tell u that using a razor blade is alot less painful, and alot easier than using a knife...
