isn't this just a big "it depends"-- some childish behavior is unwelcome, some is not, some adult behavior is unwelcome, some is not. It really depends on the welcomer--At a child care facility one would expect childish behavior. In the Senate, probably not....
No.
It doesn't, what makes you childish is your behavior
I stay away from children.
It could mean that you are not as childish as the rest of your peers and the community might view you as an outsider. Childish and selfish behavior is the only acceptable behavior in this current culture.
very behavior - including infantile behavior - is abusive if it bothers you, you asked the perpetrator to stop, and he won't. Childish behavior is usually an attempt to avoid responsibility, accountability, and, above all, intimacy. "Abuse" is when the behavior is causing harm to another person, whether it be physical or mental abuse. If this childish behavior is harming someone, then it may be considered abuse. If they are simply being selfish, you may not like it but it probably isn't really harming you.
Example sentence - Her childish behavior is a good indicator of her maturity level.
Have you told him that his behavior offends you? Has he tried to change his behavior? You can still love him, but you have to know that you can't deal with somone who is impolite. He should already have manners and know how to be polite without offending you. If you feel that you cannot put up with his childish behavior give him a chance to change, if you have timelessly given him chance after chance, it is time for you to move on.
