1. Plug your iPod into the computer and connect to iTunes.
2. Access the page where the music/video you want to delete is.
3. You can either take the music/video you don't want off your iPod or take it off your iPod AND your computer. To take it off the iPod only, click the box on the left of it with the tick and UNtick it. If you want to take it off your iPod and your computer (which i highly recommend not doing) right click it and click on the delete button.
4. Take your iPod out of the computer the safe way (i presume you know how to do this) and listen to/watch your music/videos without the muisc/videos you didn't want.
Hope that helps.
No, updating an iPod will not delete anything on your iPod.
Well.... You hand her your iPod, and she hands you hers... However, when you sync her iPod to your iTunes, iTunes will automatically delete all of her songs and apps, and replaces them with yours.

You cannot delete songs directly from iPod Touch. You must connect it to iTunes. Go to the music section of your iPod and right mouse click on the songs you want to delete and click delete. Then, safely eject it through iTunes to make sure the process will work.

unfortunatly there is no way to delete songs from the iPod touch itself to delete songs you need to do it through iTunes.
You have to delete the songs from iTunes on your computer first, then sync your songs.
You must connect your iPod and open up iTunes, and delete the song from there, then sync the iPod.
You need to delete it from your Itunes account.
