How do you describe a scenery?

Answer:
Always keep in mind the audience you are describing the scenery to. Use lots of color and compare the colors to colors of things they will be able to connect to (orange like macaroni, or a sunny tan, or the same silver-grey as that blouse I bought you). Compare size and distance to things of similar size and difference that they have seen. Remember to include how the scenery makes you feel, they will be able to understand the overall picture better if you do.
