go through the fuse box you will find a fuse to control that but sometimes it might disable more than just your day glows...I did it to my 95 s-10

apply the parking brake--you can push it in one notch and the daytime lights will go off but you will have the brake light on your panel

Under the drivers side dash on the right of the steering column is a shiny finned metal box with a wire going in and a wire coming out. This is the voltage reducer for the DRLs. Disconnect the wire coming out and the lights won't work.
