How do you disconnect OnStar?

Answer:
Why would you want to? OnStar is an integrated system within the vehicle. If there is no subscription, OnStar is not activated. Without the permission of the owner, the information is not tracked or stored in any way that can be connected to the owner or the specific vehicle.

There is no danger of 'big brother' watching you with the system. Note that there are over 5 Million OnStar enabled vehicles on the road. The shear volume of data makes it very impractical to do so.

The only reason to attempt to pull the system out would be to avoid the tracking of a stolen vehicle. To aid in such an endeavor by describing how to remove the system would be the promotion of illegal activities which is against the policies of WikiAnswers.
