I belive this slave cylinder is part of the throw out bearing. It takes a special tool to release the hydrulic line at the transmission. It is a thin piece of meatal that has a U- shapped notch in it that will push the coller around the hydrulic line fitting to release the line from the cylinder. I used a cox model airplane engine tool and modified it to fit. Hope this helps good luck.
