You cannot connect a HDMI to a VGA video output on a computer. VGA is an analog signal and the DVI adapter connects it to the analog pins on the DVI cable (a DVI-I cable has both analog and digital pins). A HDMI to DVI cable connects to the cable's digital pins, therefore, no connection is being made. The easiest way to do this is to upgrade your computer's video card to one with a HDMI output. These can be purchased for less than $50.00, and will allow you to connect your computer to your TV with one cable and no adapters.
There are multiple converters and cables that are compatible with both HDMI and VGA, which is some sort of an adapter to an adapter. I do not know how well these products work together.
I have a Sony KDL-52XBR4 connected to my Mac-Mini via a DVI to HDMI cable and it works fine. All I did was change the resolution to get it working. I'm pretty sure is in the 1280x800 range (I'm moving and the TV is in transit so I can't check at the moment). BUT, it does work and I use it all the time to watch iTunes & surf on Safari to watch Hulu. There is one quirk, the MacMini will invert the colors periodically, but I found a script someone else wrote that resets the display settings.
You need to plug an auxiliary cable in to your laptop and get a 3/4" adapter for the cable and plug it into your receiver. At least that's what I need to.
you can put a video-cable in the video port from your laptop with an adapter cable witch end in a tulip cable(yellow). the (yellow) tulip cable is conected in the S-video in port section below the S-cable input. if you can vind the adaptor witch end in a S-cable it,s better bud harder to vind. the usb connection does not work without the driver,do not know were to find one.
There should be a small ball type stud that is connected to the throttle linkage, beyond the throttle cable. The detent cable should push into that ball and stay fit there. Make sure you have the correct holding bracket for the detent cable and adjust the cable after installing if need be.
Yes.
A green cast is usually attributable to the cable/adapter connections. Sometimes just restarting everything and reconnecting the cables is enough to clear any problems. Does the Mac have an HDMI port or is it connected via the Mini Display Port/HDMI adapter?
cable TV TV antenna
Yes, when equipped with a TV adapter, which is commonly a circuit board inserted into extension slot of the mainboard.
Unfortunately not, a periphal is anything that can be connected to the outside of a computer, but does not become part of the computer... an example for a peripheral would be: USB, bluetooth adapter, wireless internet adapter, keyboard and mouse... ect. The USB cable would be classed as a data cable, and the ethernet as a networking cable.
No, what i did is i took the ethernet cable that came with my xbox, connected it to my laptop, and connected my laptop to the internet via wireless router. The only other way that doesn't involve a wireless adapter for your 360 is to connect your 360 to your computer via an ethernet cable (not sure if you need a router for this but i might as well list it), but the laptop-connect is the "most effecient/cheapest" way, and the adapter-connect is the "best connection/signal" way.
can you get a usb adapter for a firewire cable
Yes, but you will need a Mini Display to HDMI adapter.1Connect the mini display side of your mini-display-to-HDMI adapter to the back of your iMac.2Connect the other side of the mini display cord to the corresponding port in your adapter box.3Connect your HDMI cable from your Xbox HDMI port to the HDMI port of your adapter.4Plug in the adapter box and turn on any power buttons, if applicable. Turn on the Xbox.5Press "Command-F2" to switch from the iMac display mode to the Xbox display mode. Your Xbox interface should now appear on your iMac screen. There are multiple mini-display-to-HDMI adapter boxes on the market; before you purchase one, check any available reviews to make sure it is compatible with the iMac, or use Apple's "About Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapters" page to find out if the adapter you want to use will work with your iMac.
There could be a problem with your monitor or cables. Make sure all cable connectors are clean and connected properly.
If you bought the ethernet adapter for the Wii, then you can connect your Wii directly to your cable modem like any computer. On some ISPs, you may have to register the console's hardware (MAC) address ahead of time so that it can access the Internet. Without the ethernet adapter. The Wii cannot be connected directly to a modem. A wireless router would need to be set up.
If the laptop computer has a wireless adapter installed, either internally or externally, and it can communicate over that adapter to the wireless router, it is time to disconnect the Ethernet cable. The computer will only use one network path to the router at a time.
