How do you do a facial?

Answer:

1. start by removing any eye make up with a eye make up remover (use an oily remover if mascara is waterproof

2. Cleanse the skin with a cleanser suitable for your skin type. This removes any make up, oil and dirt.

3. Cleanse a second time or a third time to make sure all traces of make up is removed

4. Exfoliate the skin with an exfoliator use a skin scrub if you have oily or combination skin or use a skin peel if you have sensitive or mature skin. This removes dead skin cells.

5. Warm the skin by either a hot towel or a facial steamer to create erthyma ( the skin should turn a pink colour when removed)

6. Massage the skin with massage cream or massage oil ( don't use oil if your skin type is oily or combination use a massage cream with is water based).

7.Apply a facial mask which is suitable for your skin type using a mask brush you should leave the mask on for the amount of time that is stated ( tighten or tingling is normal but if the mask starts to burn remove immediately

8. Tone the skin with a toner suitable for your skin type this removes any remaining mask and tighten and closes pores

9. Lastly moisturise with a moisturiser suited to your skin type

After a facial don't not apply make up such as fountation, powders, blusher or bronzers or 12 hours
Drink plenty of water
Try not to touch your skin
Also don't use hair removal creams or have a wax on your face as your skin is sensitive after a facial.
