How do you do percent proportion?

Answer:
First you put the rate over the base and the percent over a hundred.
Example: what is 2 of 50%?
2 is the base
50 goes over 100 like so 50/100
so then your equation is ...
R/2=50/100

Then you cross multiply and you are done. you found your answer.
