If you meant the one where you change a piece of paper into a bill, it's usually just sleight of hand, or a simple switch. If there is a prop involved, it is probably concealing a secret compartment where the bill/paper can be stored. Otherwise, it's the old switcheroo, the magician palming the bill, switching the two, then quickly hiding the paper.
