Well, if you have a notebook, I just found this answer myself. You would need to buy a Firewire cable (6pin to 4 pin)that could connect both in your cam and your mac.
Connect the cable to your computer in the firewire port, then connect it to your cam. Assuming your computer is already turned on. Go to application on your computer and choose imovie, then choose create a new movie HD. finally, choose create a new project. Underneath where it says video format, choose DV widescreen. Now, turn your cam on play ( of course you need to rewind the tape first). Everything should go smoothly from there. :-)
Wow, the description above seems a little complicated, you can adopt an easier way to get the video you want. You can use some screen recorder to help you. Connect your digital camera with computer, and play the video you want, then you can use the program to help you record. I always use it to record Google chat video when I'm making video calls on google.
Well, I have a Nikon Coolpix s202, so I don`t know about everyone, but for me I have a connecter cord and first (when the camera is off!!!) I plug the small end into the camera and the large end into the computer, then turn the camera on. You`ll hear a beep, then it will download you pictures. Select the ones you want to transfer, then pick where you want them to go (I suggest My Pictures). The you can move the pictures around and put them in folders and stuff. Hope this helps!!!
If your camera came with a small disk, you'll want to put the disk into your computer first to install the driver so that your computer can access your camera's files. If you don't have the disk, plug your camera in anyways and see if your computer automatically installs a generic driver for you. If all else fails, the camera manufacturer's website normally has copies of the driver for free to download and install.
After that, you can just search your camera's files by finding it on the usual "My computer" (or its equivalent on other operating systems). The files can then be copied and moved from the camera into a desired location on the computer. Newer cameras will often open themselves when plugged into the computer, if the required driver is installed. When you have the driver, the camera can basically be accessed like any other flash drive or CD.
use your usb
You take the memory card from your camera and put it into the SD slot on your computer. Then something should pop up and you load them on there. Or you can take your USB cord and plug it into one of the USB ports on your computer and then plug it into your camera and something should pop up.
view tasco cam pics from the trail camera to my laptop
Take a photo of it with a digital camera, load it onto your computer and work from there.
you down load it from your computer
It is possible to use this camera as a web cam if you have a USB plug in for the camera. As long as you have the supporting software on your hard drive to recognize the camera. Generally you can find the devise after you have plugged it in through "my computer" if your computer has trouble picking up the device and you don't have the software you need then go to the manufacturers web site sony.com and you will be able to down load the software.
u can take photos & load them in ur computer. u can print them whenever u like You can use a USB cord to hook the camera up to a computer and download all the pictures onto the computer. The camera also has a flash card that you can remove from the camera and take to the store and have pictures made from everything on the flash card.
The manual that comes with your camera or down load the manual from the appropriate website.
The photos are stored in a propriatary format to the camera. Only the camera can modulate and demodulate the file to and from a computer.
