You cant. Only on the newer iPods you can put pics on

click on "my computer" and open the ipod drive from there. Then drag and drop the pictures into it.

For the newest generation of iPod nano, make a folder (on "My Pictures") just for your iPod. Put the desired pictures in there, and open iTunes. Plug in the USB cord and the iPod file will show up on iTunes. Then, click on "pictures" and click the name of the folder you made for your iPod. Update, and eject the iPod. The pictures will be there. (:
