You just do it. You can identify yourself with a style, which is what makes this artform so amazing. Everyone who does it brings something new to it. If you are going out to tag, make sure you don't work somebody else's neighborhood. It's disrespectful. Do not tag over a tag. Also, you don't just start tagging if you're not fast or creative enough. Practice at home on cardboard and get to know what you can do with a can. As for the person who answered this question the first time, it would be to your credit to give advice rather than try and diminish the strength of the person brave enough to ask it. For all we know, this question could have come from a 9 year old kid just wanting to learn. Teaching is a gift and it sounds like you have the knowledge. Share it.
