You won't be able to use temporary dye,so you'll have to use permanent.If your hair is extremely thick,try two kits of permanent,maybe,but use one permanent first and see what happens.
Well my friend had black hair and she is in the process of dying it blonde but it will take about 3 attempts to get it done personally i think you should do it in a salon as it is quicker and also it wont damage you hair. good luck
