I have tried almost everything when it comes to these treatments. (keep in mind that the amounts I use is for shoulder length hair). The coffee method worked well on my dark hair, helped with shine and color intensity.
I used:
- 2 cups of leave in conditioner
- 2 tbs of ground coffee
- 1 cup of cold brewed coffee
Mix the leave in conditioner with the ground coffee and the cold brewed coffee in a bowl. Then put it in your hair like you would any 'regular' hair dye. Leave it in for 1 hour or as long as you see fit.
Yes it will dye your hair black(depending on how long you leave it in). I is great if you want a brunet hair color. just dont leave the coffee in your hair as long
Coffee and black tea can be used to naturally dye your hair black.
I am not going to recommend this as I don't know about the health effects but Coffee stains and can colour your hair, for how long I don't know.
Rinse it with coffee
s much as you want. It depends how dark you want it. Coffee seems to be an inexpensive, tightfisted way of dying your hair.
You can lighten your hair quite a bit if you spritz it with lemon juice and go out in the sunlight (this is an old trick my grandmother taught me, and works best in summer). If you want to darken it temporarily, you can use coffee.
