use barbells lightly weighted. place behind your head resting on shoulders. bend to the right then up then to the left then up, repeat for approximately 10 repitions. use light weights to start until you see how much you can handle. I promise you this will get rid of your love handles as it tends to strengthen the side muscles better than any exercise i have ever seen.
Lie on your back and cross the left foot over the right knee. Put your right hand behind your head, extend left arm straight out for support, lift your shoulder blades off the floor and twist to the left, bringing the right shoulder towards the left knee. Lower back down and repeat for 10 reps before switching sides (right foot over left knee, left hand behind your head, right arm extended straight out for support, raise shoulder blades, twist to the right bringing the left shoulder toward the right knee). Do 10 reps, then 9, then 8, etc. down to 5 on both sides, slowly. Try to focus on using your side muscles.
