Love has a great many forms. The human need/desire for love stems from one of the innate traits of all living things, that is to sustain one's life. Humans are designed to need companionship in order to survive successfully. From our birth (and even before) we need someone to help us survive. We need someone to nurture us and help us develop until we can care for ourselves. Once we've learned to function successfully in the world in which we find ourselves, the desire to reproduce (another innate trait of all living things) takes over. The need for someone to help us bear our young, nurture, and train them drives us to seek companionship to support these efforts. All throughout life, humans look to others to help support us physically and emotionally. Even after we've passed through these stages into old (older) age, we need the support of others. These basic human needs are the forms of love.

Now, all humans do not have the same experiences in life. When there are multiple millions of people alive at any given time, there will be some that do not experience all of these needs fulfilled. That is bound to happen when life is so diverse. Modern society tends to camouflage these basic needs, leading to all sorts of ideas about love. Literature, advertising, and social norms of any given time do their best to tell us what love is. But love is actually one of the successful survival strategies of the human race.

Well firstly im a girl and most girls like it in different words but you should start by saying something romantic ie. tell her shes beautiful then explain how you want to be with no other than her and in your own words explain to her why and what she has that no one else has, what attracts you to her and no one else.
