Extracting oil from plants is a tradition dating back to the beginning of history. It has many applications including culinary (cooking oils, flavoring), medicinal (essential oils, aromatherapy), and cosmetic (perfumes, bath products). There are many way to extract oil from plants: distillation, expression (cold pressing), maceration and solvent extraction. This article will focus on the first three, which are easiest and do not require complex scientific equipment.
usually you would use a oil extractor. something like a

distillation involves taking the plant material and boiling it up in water, the boiling water causes the cells to rupture releasing the oil, normally the oil is lighter and floats on the water where it can be removed and then further refined.
cold press method is simply putting the plants through a press where it is squashed to release the plant sap (including the oil), this is then refined to remove the debris and leave just the oil this method is used where high temperature could damage the oil.
Vegetable Oil can be obtained from oil bearing seeds, nuts or crops with the help of various oil extracting machines. Generally, in the countryside, people bring oilseeds to a small oil workshop and pay them to use their machine to make oil for them. For city people, they usually buy ready-made products from markets. These oils are produced in large quantities by oil-extracting machines in industrial factories.
first, companies use siesmic equipment to fin what might be pockets of oil, then they drill the well. Once that is done, they pump it out and send it to a refinery.
