You can contact a celebrity through his agent or media source. For example, let's say you want to contact an author. You can check the website of the author's publisher for contact information. Most likely it will be the address of the publisher's publicity department. The publisher will then forward your letter to the author.

Most often you will receive a form letter back from the author thanking you for writing. But now and then you will receive a personal letter or even a phone call! I actually had my favorite author call me on the phone a month ago. She wanted to thank me and encouraged me to continue my writing. (I'm a writer.)

Another resource you can use is www.contactanycelebrity.com. You have to pay for this service, but they do have a free trial so you can check out the service. They will provide you contact information that is most likely the celebrity's agent or publicist. The celebrity database is huge so you will be able to find just about every famous person you wish to find.

Try doing a GOOGLE search for the person's name and the word agent/representative.

You can also try www.MovieEye.com for free celebrity addresses. They seem to have many members that post their results/feedback after mailing to an address.
