Yes, but for a casual PC user it is much to complicated. That is, if it has been properly removed. History is a temporary file, it is defaulted to be removed 20 days after you record it into the cache... To put it in English...
AnswerYes,the normal "delete" procedures only puts it where you cannot see it. It is still on your hard drive. The only real way to remove all traces of everything on a hard-drive such that a computer forensic expert cannot retrieve it, is to make the hard drive "disappear".
I am not sure I understand what you are after. To locate the history of the internet on an Apple Computer (Macintosh) you can approach it the same way you would on a PC. You can go to a search engine and use the phrase "history of the internet" or search one of the many online encyclopedias, like this one or, for a brief history, try this site: http://www.isoc.org/internet/history/brief.shtml MrV --You can also go to the history in your web browser, if that is what you mean.
"Ctrl+H", if there's nothing on the history, then your wife has deleted the history on your internet. However, you can specifically remove parts of the History, so this isn't 100% accurate.
If you have a Java platform on your computer, some items are saved in a separate history there, so you may be able to find what you are looking for. Files are also saved in a "Temporary Internet Files" folder on the computer, which, as long as you didn't erase it while you were deleting the history, you might be able to find what you were looking for by starting there. I'm not a computer expert by any means, so there's probably a good deal more to this; however, I noticed no one has answered yet, so I thought I'd give it a try. Note: Whatever expertise I do possess is limited to PCs; I have very limited knowledge of Macs. Where do I find the temp internet files
In an encyclopedia or on the internet
It depends on the type of computer you have or what Internet browser you have. Like for Internet explorer, you go to the favorite's star and click on history button. Try checking your computer manual, or check the Internet.
try opening the securty files eg norton etc they always keep a reckord of sites visited u will find them under events or history or similar Once temp internet files and cookies are deleted they cannot be retrieved again unless you are able to find exact memory location of each file on the hard drive and pull up the files that way unless they have already been written over by something else. If you think some one is miss using your computer, get a key logger or key logger/screen shot log programs. These programs run hidden and will track all activities on your PC and can even email the data to you. Another thing you can do is create or change the password to your PC so others cannot get into it with out you knowing it.

You can't
Ctrl + h opens history.
If you went through the settings and deleted the history then no they cant find your history.
If you deleted your history, the only way to find it would be to do what you did the first time. Google any keywords you remember from the site. Google is very helpful, you will probably find it.
You can view internet history if your browser's settings/preferences are set to store it. Most browsers will have a "history" option in the top toolbar.
Look in the Question History.

It has been deleted from the entire interview. Let's say Obama... How can this song be removed from the internet, World Wide? Just think about that!
