You can always try typing in the name of a company and the letters "CEO." It isn't always easy if the corporation is not public. However, you can start your search by going to the California Secretary of State's website. Look for a section called business search. This will take you to a page where you can enter the name of the corporation. When you enter a search for the corporation, it should bring up documents that were filed when the company was first incorporated. Not all companies doing business California were incorporated in California. If you click on the registration, you will find the corporation's original state under "jurisdiction." Go to the secretary of state for the corporations state of origin. It will always provide the most information on a company. Of course, you can always ask us.

Many states have a database run through their department of corporations or government websites. Search for the state you are in and the word "corporations".
