My problem with my recliner is the back cushion has come undone and needs to be attached to something. There is a metal spring in the back and the cushion was attached to a cloth piece that has ripped and can not be saved. We have tried fishing string to sew it, but it snaps when someone sits in it and reclines. Please help!!

Depending on when you purchased your recliner , you may still be covered under the lane warranty. Check with the store you purchased the recliner for further details. If the store you purchased the recliner at is no longer in business, then contact the lane furniture factory and they will recommend a service in your area.

∙ 10y agoLane makes several types of recliners, each unique in their functions, thus each mechanism is different. Basically there are four wood screws hoding the mechanism to the wooden frame, or in the case of a standard "push back" recliner (no lever on the side or cup/ring pull release) there are 4 bolts holding it to the wood supports. From here on out each is different. There are standard recliners, rocking recliners, swivel gliders, "Big man" recliners, sectional recliners with ring pull or cable release for the footrest.
