If you climb all the way to the top of the island, there is the Corsair Cannons shop. Climb onto that shop and left onto the mainmast where you see the flying skull-and-crossbones flag. Below it is on the mast is a box that says "cannon starter kit". These are the fuses for the cannon (you can just click on the rear of a cannon).
With the kit, you can fire any cannon on the island. Lower on the mast is a small barrel of explosives. Push that over to the left, and down into the water, then under the skull's golden tooth. Go back left, fire the cannon there, and try to hit the explosives. If you hit it, the Golden Tooth will fall and the map piece will be revealed.
the cannoneer is 20,000 doubloons.

You can copy a belted or sheathed sword (not a held one) from several of the characters on Skullduggery Island. One of them is the surly pirate in the Cannonry at the Pirate Outpost.
The trader is right at the end of the dock.
he is on Pirate Outpost.
pirate outpost
Sail anywhere near the new island or the Pirate Outpost and he will eventually find you and attack.
You can sell whatever you want that you may have salvaged or bought. The highest price paid at the pirate outpost is for Grain (which you can buy cheaply at Golden Harbor). At the Pirate Outpost, you can always buy Spice at the cheapest price.
The place between Pirate Outpost and Golden Harbor is called Skullduggery.
The map on Pirate Outpost, Skullduggery Island is in the giant skull's golden tooth. You have to get up to the top of the giant skull and shoot a cannon at the tooth and you will get the map piece. It's hard though.
You arrive at Fort Ridley, the Main Street island. Above are Dragon Cove and Bouffant Bay. To the right is Parrot Port. At the bottom left and right are Pirate Outpost and Golden Harbor. Once you have collected a map piece from each of the 5 islands, the 6th outlying island (Skullduggery) will appear near the Pirate Outpost.
buy all the grain at parrot port and sell it all at pirate outpost and so on
