How do you fix a stuck fuel gage on a 1997 Buick Park Avenue Ultra that happened after changing the battery?

Answer:
After riding around MONTHS relying on the digital display, I was shown that all I needed was a heavy-duty magnet (industrial as I was told. I borrowed one from the auto shop that was changing my oil and did it myself after instruction). When the car ignition is off (IMPORTANT!!), simply use the magnet to directly on the face of the display and bring the needle counter-clockwise back to the proper side of 'F' as far as it will go towards empty. Then, remove the magnet and turn the ignition on and the gas needle will basically reset itself from there. THIS MADE MY WEEK.. MY MONTH, I tell ya!!!!!!!!!
