How do you fix dashboard lights in a 1995 Dodge Avenger?

[Edit]

Answer

You will have to remove the instrument panel from the dash board. You will more than likely have to remove the the moulding that surronds the panel inorder to expose the screws that hold the panel on. When you remove the screws, you should be able to move the panel around a little bit, but there will still be wire harnesses going into the back of the panel. Reach your hand around to the back of the panel and remove the wire harnesses. This can usuall be done by squeezing the side (short side of the rectangle) and pulling gently. After removing the harnesses, you should be able to remove the panel and acces the lights on the back of the unit. Go to your local friendly autoparts store and purchase replacement dash lights. While you are there, pick up a copy of the service manual for your car, such as Chiltons, as they are invaluable when attempting jubs such as these and others yourself....
