How do you fix my action replay from freezing when i press start?

First of all turn off the gameboy. The game can freeze when you use too many codes at once. To prevent this dont use as many codes. It can also freeze because of a bad code. Test your codes individually to see wich one freezes the game.

∙ 14y agoit probably mean that you accidentaly did something and it froze because something was disturbing it so something probably touched the metal parts you can usually fix it by blowing into your action replay this can work for and other ds game and gameboy game.
Mine keeps freezing where it says this product is not licensed or endorsed by Nintendo. And no matter how much i blow into it, it keeps freezing.

∙ 11y agoWell, after it freezes, you can't do anything but turn the power off. I just make sure to save my game every time I do something significant that I would like to save.

∙ 14y agoTurn off your Ds. then take out the action replay and blow on the part that the game goes. Next, put the action replay back with the game in the Ds. Last turn it on.

Your Action Replay works and the game sHow is up but when you press Start game it says insert action replay and then it saves then it says insert game cart what the heck?
first you choose your codes, then the action replay saves them on your ds (short term only) then you put the game back in to play the game :)

It depends if it is the DS or Wii. In the DS game you press start to pause it, but I don't know what you mean by "freezing time" on it.
Why doesn't my action replay have a slot in the top of it?
If it doesn't have a slot on the top of it then you probably bought Action Replay DS, not Action Replay DSi. To use Action Replay DS you type in the code you want, check-mark the codes you want to use, then pop out your Action Replay DS ( while the DS in on!) and pop in the game you have the codes on for, then press start game. If you have Action Replay DS then when you pop out your Action Replay it won't freeze, so you can still start up your game with the codes.
