If it has this same symptom when doing it manually as well, the defect could be in the motor/transport mechanism for the disc tray. It is usually not repairable as the cost of the repair would far exceed the price of a new machine. Best fix is to replace the player.

After fuse was removed to see if blown when put back was where cd player said no disc. Before that it said disc error because it would't change cds.

You cant fix it, you have to buy a new one, or breeth on it, wipe it o your shirt and try that. You might also need a new DVD player

Most disc burners eject the disc at the end. Is it ejecting the disc before it burns it? If that is the case, edit this answer with: The Program Used to Burn the Disc The Operating System (eg, windows 7) At which point the disc ejects.
If the DVD player in your vehicle is not powering on the wiring may have come loose. Take your trailblazer to a repair man that can fix DVD players and other electronics.
