Clicking on a link in an E-Mail is a dangerous thing to do unless you are absolutely sure it is safe. The fact that it froze should sound an alarm. If your computer exhibits no other strange behavior you are probably OK. If it does I suggest you do a virus and spy-ware scan with the programs you have. If you have no spyware scanner, I suggest a free program called AdAware.

many times a user must click a link in Email to verify themselves. I'm having this problem too and I'm having it with links that I know are trustworthy, they work on other peoples computers. "Don't click on links" is not the answer to this question... unfortunately I don't know what is.

nice and easy answer from me this one.....tell all my friends as well.
change to "firefox" internet brouser, and "thunderbird" email.
if iam not mistaken firefox hadnt had a brouser hijack in over 3 years, your lucky if yu survive the day on I.E.
as for thunderbird email client, virtually, identicle to outlook express.
as for email clicking, i have one golden rule i think is very easy to follow.... .. if u have ANY doubt at all were its from..delete it, if its important or from somebody you know...iam sure you wil get another one or find out anyway......usng this tecnique, i have never had 1 virus through an email in over 4 years.
