You will need to initiate the menu function of the monitor itself. This varies from montior to monitor, but try pressing the buttons on the monitor itself to find the menu function and then look for a horizontal and verticle stretch function.

Once you get there play around with the vertical and horizontal positioning modes as well as the stretching features.
