I cover a cookie sheet with plastic wrap, place a single layer of burgers on the tray, completely cover them with more plastic wrap, then put it in the freezer. When they are completely frozen (about half a day or so), I transfer them to either a zipper bag (remove excess air) or package them using the Food Saver.
