Basically just add gas to the tank, turn the key on but do not start it to let the electric fuel pump push fuel to the carb or injectors. After a few minutes then you could spray some throttle body cleaner into the throttle body to get the engine to start right away. Then go turn the key and it should fire. You can try it without the throttle body cleaner and the engine may start onec enough fuel gets to the cylinders.
